It is all about caring about people!

A common response I hear from people about Network marketing is "I don't want to sell people things" or "Im not a good salesman".
I have news for you, YOU DON"T HAVE TO!!!

IT IS ALL ABOUT LOVING THAT PERSON ENOUGH TO SHARE INFORMATION ABOUT THINGS YOU LOVE WITH THEM SO THEY CAN BENEFIT TOO.

I don't sell people anything that I don't think will benefit them. And I only sell what I am passionate about and that I can say, "Yes! IT works and it's changing lives!"

My JOB is to share information with people so they can make educated decisions about their health and finances. That is all, then they make a decision. I SHARE information.

Care more about the person than making "the sale" and you will go far! Just love and care about helping others, it is REALLY THAT SIMPLE! :)

I would say this trip the summer after graduation was the kick off to the rest of my entrepreneurial life. I spend 8 months earning a large amount of money to go on it during my senior year and I did it! My love of travel, service, leadership, and self employment was born :)

Decided to Switch Companies...Here's Why

Many Options in the World of Entrepreneurship!

Due to a tragedy in my life with the death of a loved one this last month, I chose to take a break from my network marketing business. I have had to take some time to put back the pieces in my life and get by one day at a time.

That being said, I still need a form of income in my life...

So, along with donating plasma, I have done a lot of house and yard work for two dear ladies in my life :) It is fun, hard work and I get paid from $8 to $10 per hour! One lady suggested that I call myself a Domestic Entrepreneur haha

Although I love working for them, it isn't consistent enough for me to make a living and pay for misc. things. So, I decided to get a bit more creative. I love to paint, and have received many compliments on my paintings, so I decided I can start selling my art. This is very much outside my comfort zone but I realize I can be much more resourceful than I have been. So far I have 3 orders.

Another Idea I had was to buy used furniture, fix them up and sell them for more. I have a recliner chair and a love seat currently to fix up. Not sure how effective this can be, but I am willing to give it a try.

Another thing I have been slowly learning is the many opportunities to earn money online. This can come from advertising, or being an online affiliate for a company and earn a commission. I am learning that many stay-at-home mothers are using blogs, Pinterest, and Social media to accomplish this. It definitely takes more time to learn and understand, but I hear if one is dutiful, you can make a decent amount of $$ through this avenue.

There are many ways of earning money if one is willing to think outside the box and get creative, You are never broke or poor if you know how to be resourceful. So, it is time to stop complaining and get to work!

Are you right for Network Marketing?

What makes the perfect entrepreneur?

A college graduate?
A salesman?
A teacher?
A young adult?
A mom?
A poor person?

Well, all of them! In fact, anyone, from any background could be successful at network marketing...

There are a few qualifications though.

1. Hard working
2. Consistent
3. Love of learning (Greatest growth opportunities you will ever experience!)
4. Desire to improve the lives of others
5. Dissatisfaction with life as it is currently headed for you
6. A DESIRE FOR SOMETHING BETTER!

There are many MANY companies out there that are legit and very amazing.

The RIGHT company, is the one you are passionate about. If you are passionate, and their products and marketing plan are legit, then the only variable that is between you and success...IS YOU!

TaDa!! YOU are responsible for your success, your business, your clients, your team members. 

So, anyone can be successful, if you are willing to give it all ya got! And it sure is a fun ride!!

Let's Set Things Straight...

A Pyramid Scheme is when distributors get money and rewards for recruiting other members. Pyramid schemes are illegal because they deliver a product that is not useful, and the ones at the top get all the money. They collapse because the product is not useful or lasting, and eventually they run out of recruits.

Multi-level marketing is when a distributor gets compensated for sales made by them and from their down-line or people they recruit.
Herbalife is founded on product sales, we don't get paid for recruiting.

Salesman: one is concerned about making the sale. They don't care about the person or even if the client needs that particular product.

Sharesman: One who shares information about a product, company, or business that they LOVE! They are enthusiastic and don't try to sell something you don't need. They are considerate of the person and focus on what they can do to benefit the customer.

I am a sharesperson with my PARTNERING company Herbalife Int. I LOVE the products they have so I share them with others, in hopes of changing their life like it has mine :)

So, let me do some updates about my journey :)

Throughout this last semester at BYU-Idaho, my main form of business has been Facebook posts and talking to people in my classes. I have handed out some fliers, and sent messages through Facebook about our natural energy drink, Liftoff. I got a new customer from that and gave out 11 samples of it. I am following up with them and hoping for some likes of it! My goal with the Liftoff is to help people who are addicted to energy drinks to start drinking a healthier alternative that still gives them good energy. I feel very strongly about what I do :)


For those who think being in the Network Marketing business is easy....guess again.
It is SIMPLE. Not easy.
If I want results then I have to put in the effort and talk to a LOT of people to find those who are ready for what I have to offer. Since I have been giving school my main focus my business hasn't grown very much, but the thing is...I know that it CAN grow to however big I want it, IF I am willing to put in the work.

I am grateful to know that I am a part of a company that has a proven compensation plan and incredible products that I love!!!

Doing my Best to Trust in God

I am finding that although I will work very hard on building my business, sometimes I don't see the immediate results of my efforts. This is when I have to rely on my Faith in my Savior to help me get through periods of not knowing, and waiting.

I have found that when I Trust Him, and pray for miracles, THEY HAPPEN!

I prayed today for money to use for my trip to Las Vegas for a Herbalife Training Seminar. So what happened is that my sister Aimee surprised me today by placing her order, thus giving me the money I need to use for gas!

Miracles happen when we pray fro help, sometimes unexpectedly, but the Lord will provide when we have faith in Him <3

Unexpected Miracles!

This is Nate Osburn. He is my very first Wellness Coach joining my team!!!

He has always been there for me throughout High School and I know that He is going to make a fantastic Coach! As I have been contacting people and looking for clients and coaches, I actually hadn't thought to ask him. It goes to show that the things we are looking for, come from unexpected places.

This past week I have also been trying to find as many people as I can that I can help get on their nutrition programs. All of the people that I have had in mind for that...hasn't happened yet. But unexpected things did happen.

My Grandma and Grandpa Palmer made an order yesterday, my Grandma got the shake and my Grandpa got on his weight loss program. I am so excited that I was able to help them get on the products they need while at the same time helping me ualify to be a Senior Consultant!!! This is the next step above being a member and I go from the 25% discount and retail profit to a 35%!!!

This was so exciting for me!!! My goal is to become a Supervisor level by this Friday. That will get me to 50% Retail profit and discount which will be so fantastic! I am so excited to be able to get started on all my wish list products with that discount! I love my career! I love helping people get healthy and I love working towards my goals :)

A new Beginning!

Today is the start of my Entrepreneurial Journey. Why is today the start and not 6 months ago when I "Started" my Herbalife business? I now have a new mindset about my business. I understand now how easy and simple it really is to be successful. It was all about my attitude!

When I first got started being a Wellness Coach, I was super excited..but I didn't know what to do! I felt like I wasn't knowledgable enough to be successful. I was scared to talk to people and friends about what I do. I didn't know if I would be able to say the right things.

What changed?

I read a book called GoPro: How to Become a Networkmarketing Professional.
This book has changed my life! I have read several books in the past but never has one made so much sense to me, and I have started applying the principles and guess what?! IT WORKS!!

I understand now that my job is not to be the "expert", my job is to share what I have with others and expose them to the products and the opportunity. I can use tools, meetings and product information to teach them about health rather han my trying to know everything. I was scared to look dumb if I said something wrong or made a mistake. Now I know that it is OK to mess up.

I also learned that since I have something that I know will be benefitial to others, it is selfish of me to keep it to myself. This has helped me to start opening up my mouth and just talk to people and invite them to look at the products, invite them to chck out the business.
